Don Langenwalter finished the Community Building Bathrooms. This project was funded in part by grant monies awarded in 2009 by the Calhoun County Community Foundation. The City would like to thank the Foundation for the grant we received. We appreciate the work they are doing for the communities in Calhoun County.

Thanks to a matching grant from the Calhoun County Community Foundation, the City was able to update the Community Building bathrooms.
 Everything was torn out and new dry wall, flooring and fixtures are being put in place of the old.
Presto - Chango - the door disappeared from the west side and reappeared on the north.
Wheelchair friendly doors also appeared.

The Pomeroy Public Library will be closed for the week of August 24th due to the installation of new carpet.
The pale blue carpet was replaced my a natural color.
The Library will re-open on August 31st. Volunteers are welcome on Saturday August 29th to put things back together.

Countrywide Construction of Guthrie Center started mid July contructing the Maintenance shed at Lions' Park on Highway 4 & 7.
New Shelter House completed.
Demolition on the Cleaners Building located on Ontario Street started the week of August 10th.
The Carnival was in town for the AMVETS celebration on August 18th & 19th, just before school started on August 20th.
