A thank you poster to KCCI, Casey's General Store, Dr. Pepper, and Prairie Meadows was available for people to sign. This sign will be framed and hung in the Shelter House. Signs acknowledging the other large contributors to this project will be hung in the shelter as well.

The City purchased two swinging bench seats for installation at the Gordon Prange City Park. One swinging bench sits next to the community building and the other is located further down by the volleyball court.

Mall Park

Located just south of the Pomeroy Mini-Mall. This empty lot was transformed into an attractive colorful park.

Lions' Park

This park was donated back to the City in 2008. The new lift station for the Lagoon was recently built in October 2008. This will also be the site of the new Maintenance shed for the Public Works Department.

Water Tower Park

Located south of the Community Building, this park has an antique cast iron watering trough that had been used for horses back in the day. Towering over this park is the newly painted water tower. View pictures of the water tower getting a fresh coat of paint.
